Assign exams and submit for printing¶

Assign exam menu — You can access the submission form from the home screen and/or the main navigation menu *Exam > Translations > Final submit*

The submission has a few steps. A status bar will guide you through the process: First you assign languages to participants, then you will be asked to confirm your submission before being being delivered to the organizers for printing.

Assign exams¶

In the assign step you select which languages will be printed for each participant. Usually, more than one translation of the question sheets can be delivered to each student, but only one set of answer sheets will be provided. This you have to flag with the select box with answer sheet.

If some of your languages does not show up in the table, check in the translations overview whether a translation for those languages exists for all questions of the exam.

If there are warnings displayed (e.g. if there are blocks missing translations), carefully review them. You are able to proceed with warnings, but it's generally recommended to resolve them before submission.

Note that this step is not the final submission yet, even by clicking Next you will be able to come back.

Confirm and submit for printing¶

In the second step you see the summary of what has been selected in the previous Assign step. The buttons next to each participant provide a printable version of each question and the All button combines them into a single document, as it will be delivered to the participants. Make sure to review the distinct versions (if all participant have the same set of languages selected, it's sufficient to review one).

By confirming the final selection using the checkbox below the summary table and clicking on Submit, you will submit the current selection of translations to the organizers who will take care of printing them. After this, you will no longer be able to make changes.

Summary overview¶

After the exam has been submitted for printing, you will still be able to review your choices, but changes are no longer possible. Also the translation editor will be locked, and you will not be able to make further edits to the translations of the submitted exam.
